Living in a seaside flat fishermen town, and riding waves as natural love, skateboarding became a logic complement to keep active and spread the love inshore. Pumping a longboard became a passion, and soon the need for going further came naturally.
Skateboarders are unique individuals with a natural urge to express their singularity. COBO boards are built to fulfil the need to reach uniqueness on a fully functional and beautiful longboard.
We build our boards fully handmade at our workshop in Portugal.

What makes our boards different
Construction
Our boards are fully Handcrafted. The core is composed by Epoxy, Basalt fibre, glass fibre and/or carbon fibre, sandwich between layers of Birch and cork, pressed into the shape we need.
Design
Our boards are constantly evolving based on the feedback and requirement provided by our friends, costumers and most experienced riders.
Graphics & Artwork
Art is our passion and we like our boards to be unique for each rider. We will print the Artwork you choose, or we develop it based on a theme. We can even pyrograph the artwork (by demand).
The Cork Core
Cork is a 100% natural and sustainable material – it is extracted from the tree, every 7 or 8 years and it benefits it. There are trees with more than 500 years old still producing cork, here in Portugal. With the cork, we got to achieve the flex we need, and reducing vibration and some weight.
Accessories
We build our setups with the best gear in the market. We also make the improvements some of the great cast trucks need to become almost perfect. We insert spherical bearings – for more precise turn/pump – and upgrade the standard King pin to an AN aeronautical bolt – stronger, for a safer ride.
